Maria Liliana Costin

The contribution to the academic community comes from multiple areas of activity as follows:

-academic experience through teaching/training the disciplines of Basics of Programming (English), aiming towards acquiring knowledge in the Python programming environment for AI (Anaconda software package) and the discipline of Economic Informatics, at the Faculty of Business and Tourism, Business Administration in Commerce, Tourism, Services, Merchandise and Quality Management section, and the Faculty of Marketing, discipline of Economic Informatics;-experience as an Officer IT Specialist at the National Administration of Penitentiaries, on the administration, security, software and database development;

-experience as a PostDoc Researcher in the field of Statistics and AI applied in fingerprint processing, classification and identification;

-evaluation of project proposals at the European Commission, REA-Research Executive Agency as evaluator in the field of Cybersecurity Digital security: cybersecurity, privacy and trust, in the Research, Innovation and Cooperation and support call of proposals, in the fields of IOT, Privacy, Cooperation and support with the United States and Japan;

-a good understanding of today’s cybersecurity field, knowledge of development directions, the importance of the field and the impact it has on the economy in general;

-experience as an evaluator of European projects, peer reviews, member in different committees of examination;

-experience as a publisher of a book as sole author (grant), other articles and conference proceedings;

– in recent years the attention was also towards to the NGO and charitable sector, I am the president of an NGO that promotes the rights of people with disabilities, and from this position I have been involved in obtaining funding, accessing and implementing projects in the social field and for the benefit of the community.
