Laura Brad graduated the Faculty of Finance And Banking of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies and obtained the PhD in Finance in 2015. During February 2016 – February 2018, she was an assistant at the Faculty of Financeand Banking, Deparment of Finance, and from February 2018 to present, she holds the position of lecturer at the same faculty.
During October 2018-February 2020, she was a scientific researcher in the project “PORTFOLIO of innovative tools for the sustainable development of rural communities with tourism potential, by capitalizing on elements of heritage and cultural identity”.
She is the author or co-author of over 40 scientific papers, including 6 Web of Knowledge indexed articles and 19 ISI Proceedings indexed conferences. The concern for research is highlighted by the submission of project proposals within the competition Mobility Projects for Researchers in 2018 and 2019, as well as Research Projects for Stimulating Young Independent Teams (TE) – 2019 competition.
In 2015, she won the first place for her researching activity co-financed in the project from the European Social Fund, through the Sectoral Operational Programme Human Resources Development 2007-2013, project number POSDRU/159/1.5/S/138907 “Excellence in scientific interdisciplinary research, doctoral and postdoctoral, in the economic, social and medical fields -EXCELIS”, coordinator The Bucharest University of Economic Studies Among the areas of interest are:the quantification of financial performance, the concern for qualitative and qualitative analysis, the link of financial performance (for different financial areas) with sustainability, the subject of public finance and public policies.
