Cristina Filip

Cristina Filip is a Associate Professor PhD at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, with over 25 years of experience in higher education. She holds a degree in Physical Education and Sports, specializing in volleyball, from the National Academy of Physical Education and Sports in Bucharest. She further pursued advanced studies in psycho-pedagogy and later earned a PhD in Educational Sciences between 2002 and 2009.

In her career, she has coordinated sports teams and organized national and international events, acquiring excellent organizational and leadership skills.

She is actively involved in promoting and developing the sport of Catchball in Romania, being a founding member and president of the Romanian Catchball Association.

She established ASE’s representative team, achieving numerous awards in both international and national competitions.

Additionally, she has published over 80 papers and 12 books, significantly contributing to research in her field. She is an intermediate English speaker and possesses advanced skills in using Microsoft Office tools.
