A graduate of the Faculty of Economics, Anca Maria Paraschiv (Gherman) is a doctoral university lecturer at the Department of Economics and Economic Policies within the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, where she teaches subjects such as Applied Macroeconomics, Economic Policies, etc. In 2009 he obtained the title of doctor, with the theme “Transmission mechanisms of monetary policy”, and in 2015 he completed his post-doctorate with the research theme “The role of International Financial Institutions in the creation, implementation and evaluation of the effectiveness of macro-stabilization policies” “. During the 13 years of research activity within the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, she was involved, as a member, in several research projects at national and international level, which target topics regarding macroeconomic aspects and rationales. Anca Maria Paraschiv also gained practical experience in the construction, implementation and evaluation of macroeconomic policies by working as an economist in institutions such as the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank and the Ministry of Public Finance.
