Lecturer, PhDThe main purpose of this lecture is to introduce the students to the entrepreneurial process, from the opportunity recognition step to the challenges of growing the business. It helps students acquire an entrepreneurial mindset, necessary both for students that want to pursue entrepreneurship as a future career and for students that will work in already established businesses.
This course gives students an introduction to entrepreneurship fundamentals and key concepts, in order to understand the main parts of the entrepreneurial process and deal with the challenges of launching a new venture.
The course explores the attractiveness of entrepreneurship, teaching students how to successfully launch and grow their own business. Using real business profiles of inspiring students and young entrepreneurs, the classes engage students through relevant examples they can easily relate to. The course includes academic theory, success stories, case studies, and critical thinking exercises.
