Elective course (Alternative: Busines Communication in German) The main objective of this course is to provide training in business communication by having a communicative approach that helps students to develop excellent communication skills.
The seminars cover a wide range of topics that will equip students with the competencies they need to successfully join the labour market, such as business ethics, doing business online, business strategy, employment, marketing communication, social, and cultural awareness.
Students will be able to deliver professional presentations, but also understand many types of texts and media, dealing with subjects both familiar and unfamiliar. Comprehension is grounded in a broad vocabulary and a solid understanding of complex structures. During the seminars they will also have to present rigorous arguments about a variety of issues, both orally and in writing, producing many kinds of formal and informal writing on academic, professional, and informal topics.
