Associate LecturerThis lecture aims to introduce students in the Faculty of Business Administration in foreign languages to business law concepts. This lecture is comprised of several parts: in the first part, students will be introduced to the legal field, indicating the necessary vocabulary and concepts to be used in the legal area. Students will be introduced to the concepts of legal rules and legal relations, thus giving them the tools of understanding the following parts of the lecture. Moving forward, students will be introduced to contractual and company law. Pertaining to contractual law, students will study the formation, execution, and termination of contracts that can be concluded under the national (Romanian) legal system as well as in the international field, thus students will be introduced to the concept of international sale of goods. The last part of this course will be dedicated to professionals and ways they can exercise their activity – either as an individual merchant or as a company. As such, students will explore the formation of companies, their administration, and the termination of the legal entities. Furthermore, some aspects of the insolvency procedure as well as criminal business law will be presented.
