Irina Marinela Deftu
Irina-Marinela Deftu is a lecturer with a strong background in contrastive linguistics, language contact, and linguistic interference, particularly focusing on Romanian-Korean, Polish-Romanian, and multilingual studies. Holding a Master’s degree in Linguistics, she has conducted extensive research in the areas of language acquisition, cultural exchange, and translation studies.
With experience teaching Romanian to foreign students, Irina Deftu has developed curricula and facilitated workshops that enhance understanding of Romanian language and culture. As a team leader and collaborator in various academic projects, she has demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and research coordination skills.
She has made significant contributions to the academic community through her publications, participation in international conferences, and leadership in interdisciplinary projects. Her accomplishments include organizing workshops and symposiums, publishing research on linguistic and cultural topics, and mentoring students in their academic journeys.
