Dr. Raluca-Andreea Popa is an accomplished economist and academic professional with a PhD in Economics from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. Her doctoral research focused on the global investment process, and her postdoctoral studies explored the role of foreign direct investments in sustainable development. With over 17 years of experience in higher education, research, and consulting, she has guided thousands of students and contributed to interdisciplinary research projects in applied microeconomics, productivity, and sustainability.

Dr. Popa’s expertise spans teaching core economic subjects such as Microeconomics, Industrial Economics, and Macroeconomics, while her research delves into foreign investments, corporate social responsibility, and economic growth. Her work has been recognized through numerous institutional evaluations, fellowships, and international collaborations with prestigious institutions, including Vienna University of Economics and Business, Bocconi University and Korean Development Institute.

Her contributions extend beyond academia, as she has served as an expert evaluator for the European Commission’s H2020 and MSCA programs and a project manager for business initiatives aimed at enhancing European Union’s business environment. Additionally, she actively supports leadership development as a professional certified coach by International Coaching federation applying innovative approaches like the Leadership Circle Profile and Positive Intelligence to drive transformative change.
