The cross-cultural management lecture puts together theories and research from cross cultural psychology, international business, organizational behaviour, human resources and anthropology to provide students with a comprehensive view on what works or not in managing across cultures. Explained examples of best practices, as well as blunders, are discussed, in a hands-on approach, combining views from various cultural systems. The purpose of the lecture is to train culturally aware managers, sensitive to cultural diversity and prepared to respond timely and effectively to it.
