Laurentiu Fratila is a PhD Associate Professor in the Department of Management Informatics, within the Academy of Economic Studies of Bucharest (ASE).

He graduated from the Faculty of Automation and Computers at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest (UPB) and the Management Faculty from ASE in Bucharest. Has the title of doctor in automation, specialization in applied informatics.

He has completed training courses at Harvard Business School (USA), NISPAcee – Bialystok (Poland), University of Economic Sciences Orleans (France), University of Economic Sciences Vienna (Austria). Areas of interest are: computer science applied to economics, computer systems design, financial management and entrepreneurship.

The research activity was materialized through books and articles in the fields of informatics and economics, but also by participating in domestic and international research projects as project director or member in research teams. He has activated on the capital market as a broker, IT specialist and manager of financial investment services company. He was a member of the eRomania team.
